Round up your total Savings.

SmartSaver Round Up makes saving money easy! This free and convenient service lets you “round up” the change on each Progressions Credit Union debit card purchase, to the nearest dollar, and then will automatically deposit the difference to a Progressions Credit Union savings account of your choice, with the exception of IRA Savings.

Example:

You are out shopping and your purchase total comes to $29.55. This amount will post to your checking account. At the end of the day, a second debit occurs, rounding up to the nearest dollar and transferring the difference to the savings account you designated. In this case, it would be $0.45 that will be transferred into your savings account. Which would equal to a total of $30.00 that would be deducted from your checking account.

Information you should know:

SmartSaver Round-Up works on any PIN or signature-based debit card transaction from a Progressions Credit Union checking account. It does not work on ATM withdrawals if you overdraw your account or if your transaction is being covered by an overdraft protection program. In cases where a rounded-up transaction is reversed, the portion that was deposited to your savings account will not reverse.
