As we look ahead to our 100th anniversary, we have been carefully evaluating how to best serve our members for generations to come. That review included not only our Mission branch, which has been our home since 1987, but also our overall service network, including our North Side branch, digital banking services, and access to the nationwide shared branching network. We explored a number of options, including renovating the existing facility. However, modernizing the building to meet current building, safety, and accessibility standards would require substantial investment. After careful evaluation, we concluded that investing in a new facility would be the most responsible and sustainable long-term solution. Throughout this process, we looked beyond the building itself and considered how Members access Progressions services across our entire network. With our North Side branch at 9233 N. Nevada Street, robust digital banking options, and access to thousands of shared branching locations nationwide, we believe this approach positions us to continue providing convenient, reliable service while responsibly investing in our future.
After determining that the Mission branch was no longer the best fit for our current operations and long-term needs, we evaluated locations throughout the Spokane area based on member distribution, accessibility, and future growth potential. We also considered existing service options, including our Nevada branch and shared branching locations. The Valley emerged as the strongest choice because many of our Members live there, it has been a frequently requested branch location, and it continues to experience significant growth. Located in the heart of a growth area, our new Appleway branch offers excellent visibility and convenient access while positioning the credit union to serve both current and future Members for generations
to come.

Shared branching is a network that allows you to visit other participating credit unions and access your Progressions Credit Union account, almost like you’re at our branch. You can do things like deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments at thousands of locations nationwide, giving you convenient access even when you’re not near one of our branches.
