The Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee are solely made up of volunteers. These volunteers give their time to make sure that the membership is served and protected to the fullest. Members of both the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee assist in the continued growth of the credit union in the duties and responsibilities they hold. They represent the membership and ensure that quality service, fiscal safety and soundness of the credit union are maintained.  

You could be the piece we need to complete our team! 

There are a few requirements to be a member of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. 

Volunteer Eligibility Requirements 

  • Be a member in good standing. 
  • Be eligible to vote in Credit Union Elections and Membership Meetings (requires to be at least 18 years of age).
  • Agree to comply with the terms of the Credit Union’s Code of Ethics Policies, which will be sent to you upon official application. 
  • Satisfy Background Checks and be Bondable. 
  • Not be an immediate family member of an employee of the Credit Union. 
  • Not have been an employee of the Credit Union or its Subsidiaries for the past two years. 

This year we have positions available for two (2) Board of Directors and one (1) Supervisory Committee Members.  

If you wish to apply: 

  • Print and sign the Acknowledgment of Volunteer Expectations Form along with the Volunteer Application. 
  • Provide a 100-word essay to be presented on the ballot. (All candidates are limited to a maximum of 100 words and essays are inserted exactly as submitted.) 
  •  Send us a photo to be used with the ballot, or arrange for us to take your  photo in the lobby.  
  • Please include any other information about clubs, organizations, honors, awards, or experience. 

We will be accepting nomination applications starting February 5th, 2024, through February 16th, 2024.  

Drop off or mail applications back to Progressions Credit Union, Attn.: Nomination Committee, 2919 E Mission Ave, Spokane, WA, 99202*.   

*Mailed forms must be postmarked no later than February 16th, 2024, or email them directly to LaceyV@progressionscu.org or ShannonS@progressionscu.org. 

 

The official nominating committee is comprised of Jeff Martin (board member), and staff members Lacey Van Komen and Shannon Swaim. Once we have received your completed and signed forms, one of the committee members will follow up with you.
