Fill A Backpack

In Partnership with Northeast Community Center

At Progressions Credit Union, we believe in progressing together as a community by helping one another. That is why we are partnering with Northeast Community Center to “Fill A Backpack” this year with a school supplies drive.

  • You DO NOT have to be a member to participate
  • Donation collection from August 8th – August 26th, 2022
  • Physical items and monetary donations accepted
  • Two Drop-Off Locations
  • Supplies for K-12 Students

Help make a difference in the Spokane community by helping a student get all of the essential school supplies they need. It’s hard to be academically successful without the proper supplies; you can help a student achieve their goals.

How Can I Donate?

Financial Donations: Donate in person with one of our Tellers.

Physical Donations: Buy school supplies from the list to the right and drop them off at Progressions Credit Union or Northeast Community Center. (Directions to both locations are linked to the left.)

Our Partner

Northeast Community Center neighbors our main branch. The community center strives to improve the quality of life for residents of Northeast Spokane, with emphasis on social, health, economic, education and recreation needs. From education to health care, fun events and a farmers market, they do it all. We are so happy to walk alongside this team to help find financial solutions for our community.

What should I donate?

We have found that while there is an abundance of backpacks donated each year, what students are missing is school supplies. So we ask that you choose to donate items from some of the following:

  • Pencils
  • Pens
  • Highlighters
  • Loose, Hole-Punched Lined Paper
  • Binders
  • Notebooks
  • Composition Books
  • Divider Tabs
  • Pencil Pouches
  • Tape
  • Staplers
  • Sticky Notes
  • Calculators
  • Colored Pencils/Crayons/Markers
  • Glue Sticks
  • Post-It Notes
  • Rulers

Or any other general school supplies you believe a student will need.
