Children’s Miracle Network

Every year Progressions raises money (thousands) for the local Children’s Miracle Network as part of the national CUs for Kids campaign–most of which was raised through our annual holiday loan payment skip program!

Credit Union for Kids

Congratulations to our employees and our members!  Progressions Credit Union raised a total of $8404.55 for Credit Union for Kids; $324.55 from employee dress down and $8080.00 from Skip payments.

National Letter Carriers’ Food Drive

Progressions Credit Union employees team up annually with the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 442  to support the Annual NALC Food Drive.  This has a great impact on the community by helping over 15,000 people each month and providing food to 21 food banks in the Spokane area.

The NALC Food Drive is conducted in all 50 states and collects donations of non-perishable food items for hungry families in need.  The NALC food drive  is the largest one-day drive in the country.  Each year letter carriers in over 10,000 locations pick-up and deliver food items left on the doorstep of participating households.  These donations are collected on the day of the food drive and are given back to food banks and pantries in the area to benefit local families.

Progressions Credit Union supplies the collection bags that are delivered to the homes of over approximately 175,000 Spokane area residents several days prior to the food drive.  Collection barrels were located at each of our branches in addition to those at the local post office locations.  During the NALC Food Drive, postal workers, Progressions employees and other volunteers traveled postal routes to pick-up the donations from each household.

Washington Credit Union Foundation (WCUF)

Your credit union is an active contributor to WCUF.  This foundation was established to support and promote credit union development and credit unions’ commitment to social responsibility.  WCUF donates disaster relief funds to credit unions and members affected by natural disasters. The foundation also donated $100,000 and helped raise over $2 million to provide funding for a fun TV program, BizKid$, to teach kids the value of money.  This program is written and produced by the creators of Bill Nye, the Science Guy in partnership with Junior Achievement.

Hoopfest

Your credit union sponsors a backboard and a team at the largest 3-on-3 street basketball tournament in the world.  Be sure to look for them out on the court each year!
